About SUICMC 2026

Swiss cycle messenger championship 2026 is reimagining what a national cycle messenger championship can be. Rather than a single-location event, we're organizing a sweet 10-day journey through Switzerland, combining competitive racing with community, culture, and adventure.

The Event

From May 18-27, 2026, over 200 cycle messengers from around the universe will ride together through Switzerland, stopping in multiple cities and towns for races, bike games, social gatherings, and cultural exchanges. The journey concludes in Milan on May 27th, perfectly timed to flow into the World Cycle Messenger Championship (CMWC).

Why It's Special

SUICMC 2026 sits between the ECMC in Berlin and the CMWC in Milano, making it a natural gathering point for the international messenger community. Participants will experience Switzerland's landscapes and cities while competing, connecting, and celebrating bike messenger culture.

The Route

Communities in Basel, Zürich, and the village of Apples (near Lausanne) have already committed to hosting stages of the ride, with the Main Race scheduled for Saturday, May 23rd in Apples. Additional host cities are joining the route as planning progresses.

Pricing

We're committed to making this event accessible to all riders. With community support, we aim to keep participation fees at just 3 hours of a rider's pay ensuring messengers of all income levels can join this once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you earn 20 goldbars in 1h you will have to pay 60 goldbars for registration fee.
